John Bunnell has worked as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for 27 years. He is licensed in both Florida and Pennsylvania. Originally from Bellefonte, PA, John served in the United States Air Force and graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Wildlife Management. He also graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College with a degree in Mortuary Science. He is also a Certified Celebrant.
John worked for the State of Delaware as a Conservation Aide and as a Marine Police Officer. He also worked for the Delaware City Police Department until he moved to Clearwater in 1980. After moving to Florida, John worked for the Redington Beach Police Department and later for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy in patrol.
John has been married to his wife, Patty for over 40 years and has four adult children, eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. When not working he enjoys traveling, camping, kayaking, fishing, and hunting.
