Ray, like many on our staff, was born into a military family. He was born at the naval hospital in Philadelphia when his father was in the Marine Corps. Rays dad fought at Iwo Jima and in Korea. He served eleven years when family matters required him to resign from his beloved Corps. Rays grandmother was a “Rosie the Welder” at the Kittery shipyard in Kittery, Maine during WWII. Ray is a a long time veteran of the funeral service industry (40 years plus). Ray was asked about it at a recent dinner, “I have always specialized in the pre-need side of the industry, helping families make these difficult decisions under normal life circumstances, hopefully, long before the need arises.” When not working Ray enjoys the beach and golf.
