Tracy Stanko is passionate about two things, community outreach and helping people talk about the tough and tender topic of preparing for end-of-life. She gets to do both as the Director of Marketing at Veterans Funeral Care in Clearwater, FL where she is responsible for executing the Caregiver Marketing Program. As a marketing and outreach professional she uses her years of experience in education, public speaking and community building to inspire families to prepare for the future. She is also Veterans Funeral Care’s Corporate Administrator. In this role she is responsible for the company’s benefit administration, new employee onboarding & support, license oversight and social media & website coordination. Tracy also oversees the company’s 501c3 nonprofit organization called Operation Toy Soldier. Operation Toy Soldier’s mission is to provide toys during the holidays for Tampa Bay military families.

For over a decade she worked at a local hospice where her responsibilities included, leading the advance care planning program, conducting community outreach and teaching communication skills. She also served as the Veteran’s Liaison and assisted in the ceremonial pinning of more than 500 of our local veterans during the organization’s recognition and celebration programs.

Tracy is a proud daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and aunt to the veterans in her family. A transformative event in her life happened when she served as a Guardian (Mission 36) with Honor Flight of West Central Florida. She proudly escorted a WWII Veteran and will never forget experiencing the deeply moving WWII Memorial with him.

Tracy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University. She is a certified Advance Care Planning Facilitator and Instructor. She is also a trained Alzheimer’s Support Group Facilitator, a certified Laughter Yoga Facilitator and has served on a hospice bioethics committee.
