A great Tweet who taught me alot of how to and how not to be a HC-130H Navigator and maintainer. Mike, you were hard on me at times, but it made me a better Coast Guardsman. I tried to teach the way you taught me. RIP my friend.
I recall with fondness our many conversations about “moving out to the beach”. I always liked hanging out and your happiness no matter what the situation.

Mike, you left an impression on a generation of navigators and techs. Knowledgeable, patient and a sense of humor, all the qualities of a great trainer.
It’s hard to pull off gruff and likeable all at once, but you did it well. If you hadn’t been a tweet, you would have made a classic salty old boatswain’s mate. Thanks for the memories.
Mike, thanks for always taking the time to ask “hows it going”. I can only hope your family will be ok. It was great knowing you.

Mike, Just came across a class picture of 12 young guys in a 1990 Lockheed-Martin School. Most of us were in our thirties back then, today I turned 57. And Now I find you have gone Home to The Lord. I just recently had to hold my Wife’s hand as she died. I know the sorrow the Foster Family felt. I shall see you later then Michael Foster, & I shall miss you until then.
