Harvey E. Parido, Sr., 78, of Dunnellon, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System, Bay Pines, FL.
Born in Lexington, KY, Harvey Sr. moved from Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1988. His career included several management positions in the auto industry. He loved being with family and was very quick to make friends with everyone. He treasured his two dogs and cat. He was an US Army veteran of the Korean War earning the National Defense Service Medal and the Overseas Medal in Germany.
Survivors include his two sons, Harvey E. Jr. (Cecille) of Tampa, FL and Gary G. (Winnie) of Chula Vista, CA; two brothers, Ray (Pearl) of Lexington and Grover (Mary) of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Mary Bollman of East Lyme, CT; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Interment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery. Services will be private.
