Marilyn Jeannette Bentley, 47, of Largo, passed away on, Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at the Largo Medical Center. She was born in Myrtle Beach, SC and moved to Largo in 2000 from Panama City, FL.
She was a nurse at the Moffitt Cancer Center and was a member of the Panama City Christian Church. She dearly loved her family and was a person with a caring heart and had a passion for caring for people.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory Bentley; sons, Richard Reynolds and Justin Tyler Bentley of Largo; her parents, Buel and Jeannette Smith of Panama City; brothers, Henry (Marie) Mishoe of Panama City, FL, Jerry (Julie) Mishoe of Crestview, FL and Daniel (Cassie) Smith of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Teresa (Neil) Cummings of Tallahassee, FL; and many nieces and nephews in a large loving family.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at the First Assembly of God Church, 1739 S. Martin L. King Jr. Blvd, Clearwater, FL, 33756. A visitation will be held at 10:00AM and a memorial service will begin at 11:00AM.
A second service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at the Christian Church, 1814 St. Andrews Blvd., Panama City, FL 32401.
Greg & family. So very sorry for your loss and we know what you are going thru. Marilyn was one of a kind even though we never got to see her very often we loved her dearly as part of our family. Greg you are in our hearts and our prayers. We LOVE YOU very much. Your cuz.

Dear Greg,Doug,Mrs. Bentley, I so sorry for your loss. The only words I can say is that as Christians we have the PROMISE of a new and everlast life with our Lord. It was a pleasure to know Marilyn and my heart goes out to you all in this sad time. The song “All my tears” by Sellah is good and it might give you some comfort.
