I am so grateful God promises to heal a broken heart. John was an exceptional man. His life touched all who knew him. While John was a big man, His heart was indeed bigger and was matched with a tenderness and sweetness like no one I’ve ever known. I love you Lisa, Michael, and Joel. My life is richer for having known this great man of God. I look forward with you to being reunited with him in our eternal home. 2 Peter 1:2 May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

God has called home such a wonderful man, Lisa and boys my thoughts and prayers are with you. You are a strong faithful women and God will be with you though all of this.
I want to offer my most sincere and heartfelt condolences to John’s family. His unexpected and untimely passing has left a lot of people stunned and heartbroken. John was a tremendous person with a big heart and an unstoppable sense of humor. I will always remember his days at PCSO. When you saw that John was the Tech that was coming to your scene, you knew that you were in for a good laugh. I pray that God will shine his light on John’s family in the coming days. I know that John is in a better place and that he is resting in the company of our Lord and Savior!
I am terribly saddened by this tragic news. Our son Ronan loved John…he had a magnetic personality that naturally drew people to him. I too looked forward to seeing his smile on a regular basis when I’d bring Ronan to school each morning. Heaven added another angel. My heart aches for Lisa, Michael and Joel but know faith will get them through this difficult time. Our prayers are with you.
To the Warfield family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing. I know how much my dad enjoyed his company and valued his friendship. He will truly be missed, but I hope you take comfort in knowing that you now have an extra special guardian angel looking down on you. You are all in my prayers.
God Bless,
Kristen
– We are sorry to hear about this tragic news. Our prayers are with all the Warfield family. We were honored and blessed to know such a wonderful, kind, outstanding man and are heartbroken for your loss. John, you will always be in our hearts and we will pray for your family. I will carry on with your words for Michael Johnson, ” Did you read your bible today?” Michael will know it is you asking… He will never forget the love and acceptance of him with his disability and coming to his rescue many times these past 10 years of his life at church.
Praise God we know that John is in heaven with Christ, his Savior! But that doesn’t take away the deep sadness and sick feeling in our stomach at the thought of your homegoing. We can’t imagine why God has taken John from his earthly family, Lisa, Michael, and Joel, but are assured that God knows best and had important plans for him in heaven. Lisa, Michael, Joel, and Mrs. Warfield, words cannot express how deeply we are saddened by the passing of John. He was such a warm, friendly, kind, and helpful gentle giant. He loved each of you so much and was so proud of his boys, as he was always bragging on them. Lisa and family, our prayers are constantly with you and for you as you are dealing with this loss. RIP with Christ, John. You are irreplaceable.
Thoughts and prayers are with you. John was an extension of the St. Petersburg College family; he was beyond helpful at our graduations. An easy smile and time “just to chat” made John who he was and will continue in memories.
Sarah went to preschool with Joel and she will miss Mr. John’s smiling face. I will always miss his smiling face around the church and his super teddy bear friendliness. He will truely be missed. RIP John. You will be a great Security and Safety Manager in Heaven with all those people and kids there
Lisa, Michael, & Joel:
We cannot begin to understand the pain you are going through right now. We pray for you all everyday, and we pray that knowing John is in the arms of our Lord Jesus, will give you comfort. We will all see him again when Jesus takes us home. Until then, know that he loved you all tremendously and left a living legacy in Michael & Joel. Much love and prayers, The Hardesty family

John and Lisa I was your Real Estate Broker when you purchased your home 2 blocks from me.
You appreciated all I did for you. I have watched your sons grow into fine young men as I drive by our neighborhood. This indicates a fine roll model in both parents..You did everything right. Now you are with the heavenly Father and my husband Bob. Rest in Peace and be sure I will be there for Lisa and the boys. I am on 88th Ave. #13741. Ellen (Ellie) Lebohner

The Bowers Family.
I love you and miss you, you were the best uncle!!!!
Guess only God knows why such a young and good person as Johnny Warfield is called home, but at least the good word is HOME! I first met a very young Johnny at West Pinellas Little League. He was a good kid, always doing what he was told…I guess that foretold his life…from a good kid to a great person, just like his Dad. My kids played Little League with John and at St. Pat’s School. I just saw Johnny at the Historic Feed Store in Largo, we talked for about a half hour…Thank God.
Johnny from the Harper Family, Charlie, Sandy, Chuck, Bret, Cindy and Keith we wish you God Speed, and all our love to Mom…Bless you Mary.
We will surely miss you John…always ready with that big ole smile….cruising around on the golf cart keeping watch on us all at church. My heart is aching for you Lisa..you guys had a great marriage and such a lot of laughs together.Joel and Michael..you are loved and in our prayers.

I will miss your smiling face in the Church dining room. You made our evening very plesant. You and Lisa raised two very fine sons. God is saying “Good and faithful servant”.
This is the finest that anyone can ask for. You will be greatly missed. I pray for peace for your family in this time of need.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. John was a great person and true friend to many.
You and your family are in my prayers. I pray for peace and comfort and for God’s arms to hold you tight in His embrace during your pain and sorrow.

Our hearts hurt for the loss of such a wonderful person. May you find peace in knowing John is with our Lord and Savior. We will miss him loving and protecting our children everyday but know he is in a much better place. May God bless you Lisa, Michael, and Joel…..we love you!
Peace be with you and your family. He will surely be missed by all that were touched by him.
All of us in Nebraska are saddened by this loss. Johnny was a great young man with a loving family. He was much too young to leave us. May the Holy Spirit comfort Mary, Lisa, Michael and Joel and help them to keep wonderful memories of Johnny close to their hearts.
Lisa, Michael and Joel: Your husband and your daddy was an extraordinary man. I watched him many times serve quietly in the background the people who visited the campus of Indian Rocks. He was always there to lend an willing, supportive hand. We will grieve alongside you. As I worked so closely with John during special events, I never gave a second thought to security and safety because I knew he was there. I will continue to lift you in prayer as you walk through these difficult days ahead without him. He left you (and us) with a wonderful legacy….a picture of a true servant of Christ. I pray that brings you comfort.
We will truly miss John. He was a special guy that everyone will remember. May the Lord bless you Lisa, Michael,Joel, Mary and your family. May He give you His Peace and Comfort at this time.
I was saddened to hear the loss of such a wonderful man. My boys, Bennie and Christian said he was such a nice man and always listened when he asked them not to do something. He will certainly be missed by many who knew him. And even though we know that he is Home with the Lord he will always be watching over his family. I will continue to pray for the family during this time. May God Bless you always!!! He will always be missed, but will never forget what a wonderful man he was!
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
We only just realized through hearing of your loss of John through our daughter, Barb McQuain, that John had passed on Jan. 31, and we truely are saddened for you, your sons and entire family. I know Barb was extremely upset at not having known, but she loves you and cared so for John, and I know you will understand because you two were best buds at Harvest Temple Christian School.
May God guide you through your mourning over John, but we are sure he is sitting with our Lord in Heaven and that the memories you have will carry you with love and God will carry your burden with you.
Our love,
Barbara and Harry Gilman
It has been just over 9 months since you left us John and our hearts still ache because we miss you. I don’t think our tears will ever dry up until we meet again in heaven. I love you John boy. I miss you in church every Sunday when you would say “Love you, Nana”. I hope to hear those words again when we meet in heaven. I LOVE YOU dearly! My prayers are always with you Lisa, Michael and Joel, and Mary, too.
I did not know this page existed. A friend from high school mentioned his name on a FB page. I did not stay in contact with high school folks for a long time for my own personal reasons. When I finally got around to it, I found out this news of his passing. It’s important for folks to know that he impacted many lives in a positive way, including mine. He help me a lot in high school, many days of starting with the high school grind ended on a positive note because of John. Miss you, buddy. S.P.C.H.S student, 1982-1984.
