Jack Brawley Thornton, 43, of Jacksonville, FL funeral service is 2:30 PM, Friday, July 6, 2012 at Florida National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL with the US Army Honors Team and Fr. Richard J. Perko, Our Lady of Consolation, to officiate.
A Jacksonville, FL native and local resident, Jack passed away on June 19 as a result of an automobile accident. He is survived by his loving family: his mother, Glyn Thornton of Jacksonville, FL; his daughter, Sarah Thornton; brothers, Danny Thornton and Steven Thornton and his wife, Michele, all of Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter F. “Dan Thornton and brother, Richard.
Jack attended St Paul’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville, FL and was a US Army Veteran. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1987.
