Frankie was my oldest cousin. I grew up knowing him very well and cherish the time we spent together. I always remember him smiling and laughing as well as strumming on his guitar. He always invited my family and me to visit him in Florida and unfortunately we never made it there. We did however keep in touch by phone. I will miss him and his laughter. Love you, Frankie.
What a loss… What a great friend he was to my husband, Dick, and me…and a wonderful “uncle” to our three girls. Frank sure found a terrific woman when he wed Joanne. He will be missed by all of us. Love to Joanne and the kids…. Sorry we were not closer.
Ellen, I was Frank’s roommate at UVA in 1957-58.
We had great fun and I enjoyed his laconic approach to life.
I last had contact with him about ten years ago by phone and although we promised to stay in touch, that didn’t happen.
I just learned that he died years ago and while we had not been close I had a stab of grief at his loss.
He was a kind man.
You and your family have my deepest sympathy.
May he Rest In Peace.
