I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you find solace in wonderful memories.
Bill was my dearest male friend. We shared many laughs together and talks about the Lord. Without any doubt, he has no more pain and is singing away in heaven. I will miss him and our talks…but know we will be together again. I am blessed to have had such awesome times with him. May the Lord bless his family and comfort them at this time. Love and prayers Suzi<><

I was very fortunate to know Bill for a few years. Our conversations ALWAYS intiated on the question “how is your golf game going?” Even though I had not seen Bill in a while, I thought of him frequently. Bill, ’keep your head down in the fairway’!!
He was one of a kind & now he has joined Heavens choir. Bill, do choir people first choice of T-off times? You be missed by all who ever met you. I’m sorry we didn’t get more time together but I never forgot you or your family.

My sweet little brother is, indeed, now an angel, as he was while he was living. He will be such a big help to God having Him playing golf with him. To me, the older sister who changed his diapers from when he was born, and who watched him grow up to be the loving, human being he always was. He never saw anything but good in everyone. Oh, dear God, I will miss my Jink so much. Please take care of him, God. I will always love you so much my sweet brother. You can now say “I love you to Mom and Dad, to Rosie, Mary, Cack and Shunny.”
Aug.l, 2013 To my beloved brother, Bill Tarr who came to my rescue when he came back home to Ithaca, N.Y. just before we lost our sweet dear Mother. I went into a rage after she died; she was my best friend as well as my Mother. Bill took me under his wing, and showed me the way of God, and His Son, Jesus and the power of God’s Holy Spirit.
Bill saw his Angels at the Fall Creek Falls where we all swam as kids, & never forgot them. He lived his life as God would have him live it, and became my best friend, and the one male that I could truly love and trust! He even sang with me when we were both kids on the radio in Ithaca, N.Y. I am comforted knowing that I will be with him again when it’s my time to go home to Heaven. I have my beloved brother Bill to thank for leading me to Christ Jesus, and going with me to church! He graduated from Cornell University with honors, and also lived his life helping others. Am glad he also enjoyed his golf as he was a “Pro” in more ways than I can fit into this entry. May God richly bless you, my dear brother! I’ll always love and admire you! Your sister, Betty
To my Beloved Brother Bill: you always were there for me, my dear brother; When our Mom died, you helped me get thr
My dear brother, Bill Tarr was my closest and best friend particularly after our Mother died in 1953. I was so upset, and Bill was the one who pulled me though that hard time! He was the kind of brother who showed me that I could ask God though His Son, Jesus to truly show me the way. Bill was an Cornell University graduate; he also was a great golfer who taught golf to help get him through Cornell. A kind and caring soul that everyone who knew him loved him! I miss him so much, but he taught me to believe that we would be together again in Heaven. Bill is there perhaps teaching angels to golf? Love you, Bill! Hugs, your sister, Betty
As I read this I am honored that I carry the bloodline. I did not know my Grandparents names until reading this. The one time I met Uncle William was in Ithaca in 1977. That I had such a uncle who led such a life of God, family, and the ability to touch all who crossed his path. As a small child growing up in Phoenix, my brother and my bed time prayer, now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the lord my soul to keep. If I die before I wake, I pray my lord my soul to take. God bless Jinky, shunny, cack, amen. I wander why the sisters weren’t included. God Bless, Sam
