Alfred David Therriault, 85, of Safety Harbor, Florida funeral service is Saturday, 11:00 AM, February 2, 2013 at The White Memorial Chapel, 1106 Georgia Avenue, Palm Harbor, Florida 33683 with the Pinellas County Military Honor Guard, to officiate. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 10:00 AM until service time.
A native of Chicago, Illinois and a local resident since 1985, when he moved here from Chicago, Alfred was a retired Superintendent in the construction field; a Christian; a life member of the VFW and a member of the Chicago Carpenters Local # 141.
He served our nation during World War II in the United States Navy and was discharged as a Seaman 1st Class. He served aboard the USS Fentress ( AK 180 ) and the USS Alcor ( AD-34) and was awarded the Victory Medal; American Area Campaign Medal; Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon.
He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Marjorie (nee Hachmeister)Therriault of Safety Harbor, FL; his son, Michael Therriault and his wife Carolyn (nee Smith) of Amboy, IL; his daughter, Linda Boyle and her husband, Richard of Safety Harbor, Florida; five grandchildren, Kevin Boyle, Matthew, Daniel, Victoria Therriault and Kimberly Boyle and three great granddaughters.
