Francis H. Hebert, 88, of Pinellas Park, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Woodside Hospice House in Pinellas Park, FL. He was born in Holyoke, MA and moved here in 1989 from Massachusetts.

Francis served in the United States Navy fighting for our country in WWII and the Korean wars, receiving two honorable discharges. He met his lovely wife, Hetty, while stationed in England and returned home with her to Northampton, then to Hatfield, MA. Francis spent many years working along side his father and his brothers, Raymond and Robert, in the family heating and oil business, Hebert and Son. Francis was very involved in town politics in Hatfield. He was instrumental in building the Waste Water Treatment Plant and in securing government funding to insure it was built to the highest of standards. Fran and Hetty retired to Pinellas Park in 1989.   He was an avid reader and a member of the Elks and the VFW. He had many friends both in Massachusetts and in Florida who will deeply miss him

Originally from Hatfield, Massachusetts, Francis was predeceased in death by his parents, beautiful wife, Henrietta and his brother, Raymond. He leaves behind his loving family including three sons: Ron and his wife Carole of Manchester, CT; Charles and his wife Cara of Westfield, MA; and Derek and his wife Trish of Pinellas Park, FL, a brother, Robert and his wife Arlene of Hatfield, MA and a sister, Joyce Leamy of Spring Hill, FL. He also leaves six grandchildren: Geoffrey and Timothy, both of England; Kristina (Hebert) Manfredi, Kyle, Justin, and Heather Hebert, all of Westfield, MA and many great-grandchildren along with his guard dog Toby. He had many friends both in Massachusetts and in Florida who will deeply miss him.

There will be a graveside service with Honor Guard at Bay Pines National Cemetery, where he will lie alongside his wife.  The date and time of the service has not yet been set.
