Walter Fred Deiotte, 71, of Oldsmar, Florida passed away at the Brookside Hospice in Palm Harbor, Florida on January 21, 2013 from natural causes.
A native of Norfolk, Virginia and a local resident since 2005, when he moved here from Chesapeake, Virginia, he was a funeral director and most recently a financial planner and attended church at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor, Florida. During the Vietnam War, he served in the US Army and was discharged as a Major and also belonged to the ELKS Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Patti of Oldsmar, Florida; his daughters; Debbie Holton and her husband, David of Trinity, Florida and Melanie O’Grady and her husband, Martin of Chesapeake, Virginia; a sister, Jeannette McQuitty of Chesapeake, Virginia and three grandchildren. Water is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Walter will be buried at sea by the US Navy on a vessel assigned from Norfolk Naval Base, Norfolk, Virginia.
