Angelina “Angie” Lanni, 88, of Palm Harbor, FL, passed away on March 14, 2013 at Brookside Hospice House.
Angie was born in New York City, raised in Ybor City, FL & retired to Florida from Middletown, NJ in 1983. She was in the last graduate class of Florida State College for Women in 1946 and earned a Master’s of Science in Educational Administration. She had a long career as both an elementary school principal and a Child Study Team member.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Orlando Sr., in 2010; and her parents, Ignazio F. and Domenica (nee. Ippolito) Cammarata. Survivors include her loving daughter, Yolande (Dennis) Allen; son Orlando (Nancy) Jr.; four grandchildren: Courtney, Cameron, Nicolas, and Julia; and loving niece, nephews and cousins.
Interment was held at Sarasota National Cemetery.
