Dear Aunt Dot,
Received your last letter and am so thankful for the information regarding your early years. I am sorry to not have kept in better touch over the years. May you now rest in eternal peace. Thank-you for all over the years. Love, Gail
My Dear Aunt Dot,
You were always my favorite aunt. You were always there for me. I just wish I could have been there for you in your hour of need. I will miss our long talks and your motherly advice. You will always have a place in my heart and I will love you forever. I pray you find peace and happiness in God’s loving arms.
To My Dear Aunt Dot & Godmother, You had and will always have a very special place in my heart. I will miss receivingsending letters to you. I pray that you are at peace in God’s hands as you join your brothers in eternity.
I have felt your presence as I folded bulletins the last two Fridays. Hope I did it to your satisfaction … hope you’re not that picky in heaven. We grew so close; I miss you so, but know that you were raised up on Eagle’s Wings to take your place among the saints.
Dottie–Monday mornings aren’t quite the same without you across the table counting money from the Sunday collection at PLC. You taught me how to do it and now I’m trying to teach others how to do it. You’ve touched so many lives with your presence here and I’m sure you will continue to do so in heaven. Rest in the loving arms of the Lord!
Dear Dottie,
I know by now you are straitening all the angels robes so they look just right. Your service was beautiful and loving, just as you have always been with all of us. Jay and I loved you so much. Take care dear friend until the day we all meet again and rejoice.
Dottie,
How funny I would “trip across” your obituary after 3 years and on Veterans Day. I’m grateful for your service to the Women’s Army Corps during WWll. You were so young. You must have been very good at what you did because you retired a Master Sergeant. Only the top 3% of all enlisted personnel ever see that E-8 promotion. Rest in peace dear lady.
May you rest in peace. And may memories live on thru us you loved you.Thank You for your service and sacrifice to our GREAT NATION. And what a great feeling it must have been when God said WELCOM Home my good and faithful servant. Gone from our sight but never from our hearts and minds.
