William Harold Cripps, 84, of Tampa, FL funeral service is 11:00 AM, Friday, June 27, 2013 at the Manhattan Baptist Church, 4300 South Manhattan Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33624 with Pastor John Couch, to officiate.
A native of Jackson, Michigan and a local resident, William was a retired electronics technician for the United States Post Office; a member of Manhattan Baptist Church and a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Air Force. During his time in the Air Force, he was awarded a Korean Service Medal; Good Conduct Medal; United Nations Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal and was promoted to the rank of S/Sgt.
Preceded in death by his parents and his wife, he is survived by his loving family: his son, Mark Cripps and his wife, Laura of Tampa, Florida; a daughter, Tamara Dudley and her husband, Walter of Brooksville, Florida and his grandchildren: Evan Cripps, Caitlyn Cripps, Sarah Dudley, David Dudley, Joshua Stroble and Sara Stroble.
Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery where he will be placed with his wife.
