God gave me a wonderful daddy and a praying family. Without the power of holyghost and praying friends and family I know I would not have made it thru these last few years. God has been our rock and foundation in this life here on earth. Thanks to all of you for your prayers. Daddy will be missed until we meet again.
There are many memories I have of my papa. Most are of the funny and happy memories we shared as a family. God gave my sister’s and I a great grandpa; one that we will forever remember. love you, papa! xoxo
It was my privilege and honor to have Eugene as my Father-in-law and as my friend. With his passing we not only lost the hardest working man I’ve ever known, but we lost another piece of “The greatest generation this country ever had”. He saw hardships hopefully we will never see. With Eugene you got what you saw, he was a: no non-sense fire and brimstone, demon casting faith healing, right hand to God, salt of the Earth kind of man. Heavens gain is our loss. I’ll miss him.

You meant the whole world to me God papa I miss you so so much and thank you for all the things you did for me in my life no one would ever take your place but just rest in peace for now and when the last trump sounds you will be in the cloud to meet our maker so I will see you there and I love you papa more than anyone could understand your baby Christie

My sympathy to Eugene’s family. He was a good person to work with at Brown & Root in Mississippi and a joy to hunt with. I remember having my shirt tail cut off during a squirrel hunt with him. So sorry for your loss.

Im going to miss my papa so much! He was such a hard working man that always had to be doing something. We’re all so lucky to have him as our papa. He would do anything for us! & Were lucky we got to spend so much time with him! I remember the things he used to say that would just make us all laugh! It breaks my heart to know you’re gone for good, but I know he’s with Jesus now, and I remember him telling me how he still prays and it meant alot to me. I’ll never forget that.. Papa you’re forever my angel! And I know for a fact your okay.. Please continue to watch over us and keep us all safe. Rest in paradise papa I love you so much My angel?
“UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN”
Those special memories will always bring a smile,
If only I could have you back for a little while,
then we can sit and talk again like we used to do,
you always meant so very much and always will too.
The fact that your no longer here will always cause me pain but you’re forever in my heart until we meet again!
I will miss Eugene very much. He was more than my uncle, he was my loyal friend. He would write letters of prayer,on my behalf, and put them in his Bible whenever I asked him to do that. Those prayers were always answered, he was so strong in our faith. He was my best dancing partner and the time we went to New Orleans together is one of the best memories of my life. I know that I’ll see him again one day in heaven. I Love You, Goodbye Eugene. -Lisa

Eugene is one of my heroes of the faith. Whenever I needed a faith lift I would ask him to tell me stories of all the wonderful mighty things he had seen the Lord do through him and Peggy. After listening I would always find my self strengthened in the Lord to fight on and never give up. As a matter of fact, those were his last words to me, “keep doing what you are doing, keep the faith, do not quit!” He was a mighty man of God!
Such a character! I will always remember him fondly. Sending kisses to help speed your wings home Great Uncle Eugene!
I DIDNT KNOW U THAT WELL BUT U RAISED A WOUNDERFUL GRANDAUGHER THAT TRUELY LOVED U.
RIP KELLEY TODD
Always a good man to his family. Many fun days being on a difficult type of job (masonry)with him due to “Eug” (Bud Eastridge always called him that) being on the job running that mouth, as only he could. Any that worked with him that read this will smile fondly or laugh at a memory of something he said or did.
