Imogene Fromhart Rutkowski, 78, of Palm Harbor, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, two weeks and two days after the passing of her beloved husband, William F. Rutkowski.

Born in Baltimore, MD on August 29, 1934, Imogene was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Fromhart. Imogene graduated from the Catholic High School of Baltimore and studied further at local community colleges. In 1957, Imogene married the love of her life Bill, and together they embarked on an adventurous life living across the country from Baltimore, MD to Vancouver, WA and Basking Ridge, NJ as Bill’s career progressed. When her children were grown, Imogene returned to work at AT&T, eventually rising to the assistant to the president of the AT&T Gold Card. When that position took Imogene to Jacksonville, FL, Imogene and Bill relocated to Ponte Vedra Beach where they enjoyed 20 happy years.

Throughout her life, Imogene was heavily involved in charities including Young Audiences, the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and the Ponte Vedra Women’s Club.

Imogene is survived by her children, William J. Rutkowski and partner Roger of London, England; Robert C. Rutkowski and wife Betsy of Palm Harbor, FL and their children, Nikki, Jillian and Tara; and David B. Rutkowski of Jacksonville, FL and his son Henry; her sister, Geraldine, of Baltimore and her nieces and nephews. Imogene’s other sister, Vera, preceded her in death. A brother, John “Edwin”, died as a young child.

Bill and Imogene were dearly loved and will be deeply missed by their family and friends.
