I am so sorry for your loss. I can not imagine the pain you are feeling today. A good message was read to me yesterday. “Don’t cry for what you have lost, Smile for what you had.” May you all find peace in your memories. Love and prayers to you all.

Cathy and family, I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother. Sending my prayers to you and your family.
When the Lord calls our love ones home he leaves a gift of memories in exchange, find comfort in knowing you were a special part of such a well-lived life. My condolence to your family!
I certainly have not forgotten how accepting you were of me regardless of the trespasses of my parents, how you laughed with me, guided me, cared for me, and sheltered me when I was a child with no control over my own life and circumstance. You showed me that blood truly does run thicker than water, and that family knows no distance or generations of removal. You showed me grace, forgiveness, understanding, selflessness, and love in their purest forms.
Now that you’ve gone home to our Heavenly Father, know that behind you, you have left a legacy of love and family values that span all miles and generations. Your good-natured fun, sensibility, and humor will never be forgotten. We will miss your knowing smile and gentle presence, your warmth and acceptance, your wit and your wisdom. Thank you for everything, Aunt Thelma. We love you!
