William L. Weiser

VFC William L. Weiser Obituary

William L. “Bill” Weiser, 66, of Clearwater, FL, died on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 peacefully at home with his family at his bedside.

He was Founder and President of Weiser Construction. He was a gifted draftsman and thoroughly enjoyed designing. His greatest passion was building churches, and he considered it his calling in ministry. He built many throughout Florida, as well as South America.

As a lifelong member of Clearwater First Assembly of God, he served in numerous capacities: youth leader, deacon, choir and worship team member, set builder, Sunday school teacher and more. There was not much he didn’t do for his church. He was a selfless servant! He was a devoted and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandpa, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend!”

He was a sacrificial giver who would “give you the shirt off his back”. As a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, he led his family by example.

His wife was the love of his life; his children were his greatest treasures, and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Bill was deeply loved and cherished by all of his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elaine Harter Weiser, his children; daughter and son-in-law, David & Tammy Spedden of San Mateo, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Wes & Lauren Weiser; son, Jon Weiser; and son and daughter-in-law, Chris & Lindsey Weiser, all of Clearwater, eleven grandchildren: Amber, Brittany, Ashley, Austin, Isaac, Ayden, Ethan, Emma, Lucy, Nessa, and Olivia. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Hannon of Largo, and his brother George Weiser, of Meeteetse, WY and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, December 9th at Clearwater First Assembly of God, 1739 So. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Clearwater, 33756, www.clearwaterag.org. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens in Largo.
