Perry David Rutter, 78, USAF-Veteran funeral service is 12:30 PM, Friday, March 20, 2015 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513, with VFW Post 10209 and the United States Air Force, providing military honors. Please assemble at the cemetery from 12:00 PM (Noon) until the service time.
Born in Cleveland, OH on October 23, 1936 to Roy and Verna (Page) Rutter, David passed away on March 15 2015 at his residence in St Petersburg, Florida. He was a retired carpenter and machinist, and he was an US Air Force veteran serving as an Air Craft Mechanic and Aircraft Crew Chief on the C-124 “Globemaster”. He was awarded the US Air Force Good Conduct Medal and graduated from Aircraft Mechanic Precipitating Engine Course. He was a devout Christian and a patriarch of his family for many generations.
Predeceased by his parents, David is survived by his loving family; his wife, Helen Rutter of St Petersburg; a daughter, Renee Williams and her husband, Mike of St Petersburg, FL; two sons, Mark S. Rutter and his wife, Irene of St Petersburg, FL and Michael Rutter of Ashtabula, OH; a brother, Tommy Rutter of Columbus, OH; fifteen (15) grandchildren and ten (10) great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his first wife, Carol Rutter of St Petersburg, FL.
