He was a wonderful person and good friend. We will miss you JV!
I always loved how you smiled, particularly at Susan and now we’ll feel that smile and “see” it only through those here on earth as they lead lives that you touched.
Sincere condolences and best wishes to Susan and the family.
Susan, God Bless you in this time as you walk through the shadow of death. I enjoyed knowing JV

You were a great boss when I joined NCNB in the early 90’s. I remember you as an excellent leader and a good man. You will be sorely missed. My prayers are for Susan, Cindi and the rest of the family.
Susan, I do not know you or your family but want to extend my condolences to you out of respect for J.V. I am an “ex” sister in law from many years ago. I have always thought very highly of J.V. and regret that we lost touch thru the years due to both of us moving from Wilkes. Please relay my sympathy to Shirley as well, thank you.
God Bless You

J. V. was a wonderful friend and classmate at Mountain View and North Wilkes High School. He was always in a good mood and was helpful in any way possible. Thoughts and prayers for his family.
Sue,
I will always cherish the times I spent with JV, you and the family. Wonderful memories!
My thoughts and prayers are with you, now and always!
Sending much love to all!
I give my sincere condolence to Susan and family.
JV was my regional manager at NCNB/Nationsbank. He was great to work for and with – always kind and supportive, and an excellent leader for us. I still remember in our branch manager meetings when he would call us “young’uns”.
To Susan and the family, we are keeping you close in prayer, knowing that God is always with you.
Dear Susan and to you family, we well remember J.V. and you from Patsy and Larry’s wedding in Lenoir. Larry is my brother in law. We are so very sorry about the loss of J.V. Patsy (Nancy’s sister) and Larry have spoken so fondly of both of you over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely, Nancy & Chip Bell
