Bill retired from Hercules Defense Electronics after many years working as a test engineer for multiple companies. He was building computers, stringing code, and creating new programming before Microsoft or Apple existed.
Bill was a master gardener, providing food and beauty for family and friends, A talented handyman, he could repair any engine or motor, and work in almost any construction trade or farming occupation. Most of all, he was a devoted and loving husband and father. He was a committed patriot, faithful to the Constitution and the flag of our country. A born-again Christian, he has gone to be with our Lord.
He will be greatly missed by his family and community. Services will be held Friday, June 5 from Gulf Coast Church in Largo, FL at 1pm. Flowers are welcomed; however, should friends desire, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or any organization that supports our troops in the defense of his beloved country.
Ron & I are very saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. We enjoyed the fruit he would pick and send with Scot & Jennifer on their travel back to Columbia to give to us. We would hear stories of how much Bill enjoyed his gardening & could turn his garden over several times in the season. There surely is a garden in heaven he is tending to right now. May the Lord bless & comfort the family during this time.
