Robert E. Dodd, 64, of Clearwater Beach, passed away on June 5, 2015 at home.
Born in Boston, MA on July 2, 1950 he came here to attend the University of Tampa and moved here from Dover, MA in 1980. Robert loved to golf, fish, play sports, and watch the sunsets on the beach.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; two daughters, Claire and Catherine; sister, Patricia; brother, Fredrick; and two grandchildren, Robert and Mary.
A Mass will be celebrated at 2 PM on Saturday, June 13 at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church, 245 Dory Passage, Clearwater Beach 33767 on Island Estates. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to The Dodd Family Project to support the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation Inc. in Robert’s honor.

So sorry for your loss. Robert was a great mentor, positive roll model and a special friend to me and so many others. He will truly be missed.
Robert was and will always remain in our hearts as one of those very special people you are blessed to have know. Robert’s way of making everyone feel welcome and valued was something remarkable. He was someone both my husband and myself held in very high regard. He will be dearly missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to Kathy and all of the Dodd family.

Words can’t begin to express the depth of your loss. Claire’s eulogy was so heartfelt and painted a picture in words of the wonderful person Robert was. Our family have fond memories of him over the years. There is such peace in knowing that his suffering is over and he is in the arms of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ. May loving memories of Robert keep him forever close in each of your hearts.

Trish and I are sad to find out the terrible nes. We moved to Louisville,ky in the late 90s and I lost ouch with Bob. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless his soul.
