Della (Doty) (Thomas) Lasseter, 79, of Plant City, Florida, went to be with her Heavenly Father and now is at peace from Alzheimer’s on Sunday, June 7, 2015.
Della was born July 12, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN and raised in Dundas, IL by her parents, Golda (Estes) and John Doty. She married Cecil Thomas, of Noble, IL, the father of her children. He preceded her in death. Della later married John Lasseter, who also preceded her in death. Della lived in the Tampa Bay, Florida, area since the 1970’s until moving to Plant City about 10 years ago.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 13th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1805 N. Park Road, Plant City where she was an active member. Her family and faith were very dear to her.
Della is survived by her children and spouses, Lawonna (Thomas) Woody, Greg, Barb Thomas, Roxanna (Thomas) Cantrell, Renee (Thomas), and Wayne Browning; grandchildren and spouses, Mike, Sandra Woody, Christina Woody, Justin Scull, Jennifer (Thomas), Steve Harman, Scott Thomas, Jonathon, Nicole Browning, Cassandra Browning, Tanya Cantrell, Kevin and Kim Browning; great-grandchildren, Layne, Camden, Cashton Harman, Ayden Thomas, Tiffany Starwalt, Dalton Hough, Kaitlyn, Kendall, Kayla, Kylee, and Kaden Browning.
