Jeanne Thomas, 89, of Largo, FL, passed away on June 20, 2015 at home under the care of Suncoast Hospice.
She moved here from her native Chicago, IL in 1974. She retired as an office manager and worked many years for Dr. Denton Crockett. She is a member of First United Methodist Church of Clearwater and a former member of St. Paul UMC. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and taking care of her family.
Survivors include her son, Michael of Clearwater; two daughters, Pamela Torgersen of Largo and Penny Jo Thomas of Salida, CO; three grandchildren, Eric Torgersen, Amanda Hannon, and Samantha Thomas; and two great grandchildren, Zachary and Zoey Hannon.
A gathering of friends and family will be from 1-3 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at First UMC of Clearwater, 411 Turner Street 33756. Services will follow at 3:00 PM. Interment will be at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
