Martha J. Wendel, 79, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
She moved here from her native Buffalo, NY in 1986. She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting art. She enjoyed painting and loved art and music.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, John; son, Eric Wendel of Minneapolis, MN; four daughters: Janice Gray of Murrysville, PA, Leigha V. Wendel of Woodland Hills, CA, Elizabeth Wendel of Los Angeles, CA, and Sandra Bortnick of Bradenton, FL; two brothers, Bob and Steve Caldwell of Sequim, WA; two sisters, Francie Goodrich of Woodland Hills and Evelyn Zeidman of Chico, CA; and seven grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72 (Exit 205 off I-75), Sarasota, 34241.
