Gregory H. Mosman, 68, of Bushnell, FL formerly of Clearwater, FL passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
Greg moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1974 before moving to Clearwater in 1984 from his native New Milford, CT. He worked 35 years as an elevator mechanic for General Elevator and others. He was Episcopalian and was a Navy veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion Turner Post #7. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and he loved auto racing. He raced and attend many Saturday nights at Sunshine Speedway.
Greg was preceded in death by his son, Gregory and brother, Donald. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Sally; two sons, Donnie (KalanI) Mosman of St. Petersburg and Richard (Gia) Payne of Merritt Island, FL; daughter, Patrice (Tony) Mosman Lago of Warren, CT; sister, Susan (Mark) Bechill of Ipswich, MA; nine grandchildren; and two nieces.
A graveside service with military honors will be presented at 12:45 PM on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL 33744. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Fisher House at Bay Pines.
