Jesse leaves behind a loving and devoted family. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty years, Elaine A. Bowers; sons: Jesse Bowers the 3rd, and Timothy Bowers; siblings: Louise Hennessey, Arnold Bowers, Alma Hubbard, and Steven Bowers; six grandchildren: Jessica Reuss, Sabrina Bowers, Jayden T. Bowers, Kalesha Bowers, and Zoie Bowers; and three daughter-in-laws: Tracy Bowers, Karene Quintyne-Bowers, and Janaya Bowers. Also left to mourn are Lilian Black, Beatrice Loatman Ruby Washington, Josephine Black and cousin Edwin Washington, Karen Ogelesby and many more.
A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at the LifePoint Church located at 8702 Hunters Lake Drive in Tampa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until the start of the service at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at 1:30 pm at the Florida National Cemetery located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave in Bushnell.
Floral arrangements mayn be sent directly to LifePoint Church on the day of the service as early as 8:00 am and delivered by 8:45 am.
