Dear Gilbert family:
I am deeply saddened and shocked by Larry’s passing. It was only a year ago that he helped to organize my dad’s memorial service at the golf course. Larry said that he was my dad’s replacement for the golf group with John, Bill Reynolds, and Bill Davis. He drove myself on a golf cart out to see the brick that they had laid on the course with my dad’s name on it. I can’t help but think about all the times Larry gave to others like all the Make a Wish charities and just anytime I was around him. We have all lost a good man. I also appreciate working with him between my company and his N.E.S. I also think it should be mentioned that he played for the Boston Redsox for a time as a 2nd baseman back in the early 60’s. I was so glad that my 16 year old son got to meet Larry at my dad’s memorial service. And as I mentioned at my dad’s memorial service… I pray in the name of Jesus that He comfort the Gilbert family as I also remember Mike and Burke and that He (Jesus)draw all of us closer to him so that we all may meet again on a new renewed earth as promised in the bible. God Bless you all.
