Hedwig Orsted passed away April 21, 2016.
She was born on May 29, 1935, in Lampertheim, Germany, a daughter of the late Joseph Maul and Margareta Bernet Maul.
Her companion of many years, Charles Monson, asks that you remember Heddi for her good heart and her love for animals. Although she was confined to a wheelchair for many years,she always
found time to care for her cats and any critter that wandered into her yard. She was a blessing to many and will be missed by family and friends.
Besides her parents, Heddi was preceded in death by her husband, SGM Earl A. Orsted, United States Army.
Survivors include one brother: Hans Maul and his wife, Lilo, of Germany, nephew: Hans Juergen Maul, and nieces: Tina, Julia, and Anika.
Heddi will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Lifepath Hospice of Sun City, Florida.
