Normand Gerard Sigouin, 72, of Seminole, FL, passed on May 6, 2016. He was born in Farmington, NH and moved to Pinellas County for New Hampshire in 1974.
He was a man who loved his country and served in the United States Army where he was a Drill Sergeant. He retired as the Vice President of Operations for Midway Services in Largo, FL, after working there for over 30 years.
Normand was a great husband and a very good father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his wife and was a wonderful family man. He was known to have a dry sense of humor. He was a builder, a hunter, a fisherman and he also enjoyed cooking. He loved to laugh and make others laugh as well. He was a Christian man, loved God and served as an elder at Liberty Temple Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerard and Simone Sigouin. His wife of fifty years, Barbara; sons, Corey, Scott and Douglass; brother, Donald of Sparta, GA; six grand children; and 3 great-grandchildren survive him.
We are so sorry for your loss. Norm offered many words of encouragement over the years. It was a pleasure knowing him. Bruce and Jewell

Nancy: I worked with Norm for many years at Midway. Always a kind word, a sweet laugh and always ready to pray with anyone who needed prayer. A terrific friend and one of the nicest, genuine human beings I have ever known.
Sonny: I had the privilege of meeting Norm and Barb when they came into my medical store. Always a hug for me, and an inquiry as to how my wife was doing. Last time he was in we took a picture of Norm and me. I will treasure it.

To Barbara & Family
We were deeply saddened to hear about Norm’s passing especially knowing what a tremendous loss it was for you and your family. I considered it a priviledge to have worked with Norm for over 15 years. Norm’s special gifts and talents were indespenceible and certainly played a pivotable role in whatever success God was gracious enough to grant us. His loyalty, dedication, humor, hard work, and example blessed those around him through the years. Working with someone for so long gives you a true picture of what the person is about. Norm’s picture displayed a man that all men should aspire to be. Norm was an example of a man that loved God and personified what it meant to be committed to his wife and family. I consider myself blessed to have known Norm and know that I am a better man due to his influence. We pray that the Lord of grace would grant you and the family an abundance of comfort through this most difficult time. I look forward to seeing him again walking the streets of gold.
Praying for you and the family,
Love in Christ

I as so privileged to have worked with Norm at Midway Services. He was a wonderful example of a man living a Christ-filled life and I was so blessed by his daily joy. I know he is now with the Lord and I’m sure the angels applauded when he walked in heaven’s door. Thanks Norm, for your example of taking up your cross daily. I’ll always treasure knowing and working with you.
