Margaret is best described by her family as a lady of dignity and class.  She was fun, strong, giving, selfless and loving.  She always considered the needs of others above her own.

She loved gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.  She was an excellent cook who could effortlessly feed a multitude.  Her famous macaroni and cheese was the number one request for all family gatherings. She celebrated life, people, and holidays in a way that anchored her family’s traditions and memories.

Always hanging on her wall as a constant reminder was her favorite saying:

One hundred years from now it will not matter

What kind of car I drove,

What kind of house I lived in

How much money I had

in my bank account

Nor what my clothes look like,

But the world may be a little better

Because I was important in the life of a child.

Margaret was important in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and many other children who came into her home as friends and relatives.

Isaiah 66:13 “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.”

Margaret provided love and comfort to all those who knew her.
