Ken touched many peoples lives. As a Good Sam member, I enjoyed seeing Ken and his dad at the various Samborees. When his dad passed, it was obvious the hole in Kens life. Ken has been absent from our Samboree for a few years, but I remained hopeful we would see him again. We will remember Ken and his dad every time we wear our camping vests as they made so many of the badges that are on it. God Bless the Timmins family.
Our travels will never be the same. We will miss the great times listening to your stories. Your craftsmanship was amazing. You were an amazing man and Good Sammer. Rest in peace dear friend. Much love.
Our hearts are broken that we have lost another anchor of our Good Sam Family . Ken used to gang up with Rob to pick on me because I could never make up my mind on what I wanted from his store. One of the best memories of him was when I had a “Navigator” tag made for my vest, I picked it up and he was just laughing and smiling and I had no idea why, until about 2 Samborees later when some on said “OH Look how cute NAGAGATOR”. I just have to laugh. Love and healing prayers go out to the family and all of the Good Sammers that were lucky enough to have him touch your life. Until we meet again Ken… Not all that wander are lost LOVE K&R Burns
We were so sad to learn of Ken’s passing and want to send our condolences to his family. As long time Good Sam members, Ken made every name tag and rig tags we have. He even made our dog’s emergency call tag. His craftsmanship was absolutely the best. As we went to more Samborees, we used to joke with him about when we would see him next. He always made his customers feel like we were part of his family no matter how busy he was. We have missed him at our recent rallies and had hoped we would be seeing him again. Now we will have to wait until we all go home to a loving God and a heavenly camping trip. May you be comforted knowing there are many friends all over the East coast sharing your loss. Ken, thank you for your service and may you rest in peace. Blessings to your family.
I met Ken at the West Virginia Samboree and we did the Tri-Boree together. I saw Ken two to three times a year at various Samborees and we became friends. Ken will be missed by all who knew him, however, he is now reunited with his father.
Don and I were sad to hear of Ken’s passing. We will always remember him from the Samborees he made so many of our badges.
He was always very friendly. We send our prayers to the family.
We will miss seeing Ken as much as we missed seeing Dad at our Samborees. They both worked late hours making all the badges and tags that were requested by new members and specialty items aslo. It was a joy see and talk to Ken, and there was an emptiness as he missed Dad. We will be reminded of both Ken and Dad each time we wear our bolos, vests and display our tags. Rest in Peace our dear friend, may we meet again. Thank you for your service. Sincere condolences to the Timmons family, we are keeping you in our prayers.
Not Many of you will KNOW who I am, but I am his Brother Steven. He was My older Brother and he will be Missed. I Know that he is NOW with Our Parents and they are all looking and Taking Care of Me and My Wife, and My Step Son. He has Missed being on the Road Again, doing the Samborees and Rallies as he had done in the Past, but he was still Working his Machine, doing Tags, down there in Florida.
