Harry Arne “Skip” Lee Jr., 71, of Hutchinson Island, Florida funeral service is 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 Stats Road 72, Sarasota, Florida 34241 with Pastor Randy Morris and the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard, to officiate. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 12:30 PM until service time.
Skip was born on October 24, 1944 in Oceanside, New York to Harry Arne and Doris (Corbitt) Lee and passed away at his residence on August 7, 2016 from natural causes. Skip served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War Era and when he was discharged as a SGT., he had been awarded the Good Conduct Medal, M-14 Rifle Expert Badge and the National Defense Service Medal. After his military service Skip worked as a policeman, deputy sheriff and a real estate agent. He was Baptized as a Lutheran and moved to Hutchinson Island in 2011 from Lake Conroe, Texas.
Skip is survived by his loving family: his sisters, Linda Clepper of Lakewood Ranch, Florida and Marche Lee of Sarasota, Florida; nephew, Brent Clepper and his wife, Lauren of Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, a niece, Laura Lee Clepper of Lakewood Ranch, Florida and a host of cousins and friends.
