Janet L. (Burkins) Shettel, 82, of York, PA resided in Clearwater, Florida and passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. She was the wife of Earl Shettel. She is preceeded in death by her daughter Barbara Shettel. She is survived by her husband Earl Shettel and two daughters Karen Heaps of Red Lion, PA; Connie Gladfelter of Seven Valleys, PA and one son Dennis Shettel of York, PA. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Janet Shettel Memorial Fund. I can’t begin to tell you how sorry I am for the passing of your beloved Janet & my beloved friend. I’ve been her Winter neighbor for many years and shared many happy times with Janet & you Earl. Always felt like we were family. My thoughts & prayers are with you all.
