Claude Byron Girton was born on January 1, 1927 in Columbia County, PA to Fred Girton and Stella Brown. He passed away on August 23, 2016 at Martinsburg VAMC in Martinsburg, WV. He is survived by his children Stephen and Michelle Girton of Baltimore, Maryland as well as 3 grandchildren.
A graveside service with military honors provided by the United States Navy will be held at Quantico National Cemetery on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the National Kidney Foundation.
