onna Butche was born on February 17, 1926 in Swayzee, Indiana to Carl and Elsie (Mohler) Stinger. Donna passed away on November 3, 2016 at the age of 90 under the care of Hope Hospice surrounded by her loving family.
Family
Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph B. Butche, Jr., a World War II Navy veteran. The two were married for 29 years before he passed away in 2011. Joseph was buried at Sarasota National Cemetery with the United States Navy providing military honors. Donna is survived by her daughter Lee Craine of North Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren Nicholas Mark (Karen) Geisel of Ocoee, Florida; Christina Rhodes of Cape Coral, Florida; and great-grandchildren Michelle and Dustin Rhodes.
Hobbies
Donna was a writer for various newspapers her entire life. She eventually had her own column called Down on the Farm that published in The Star Press and The Chronicle-Tribune, both Indiana newspapers. In Down on the Farm, Donna humored her readers with funny stories about life on a farm which she drew from her life being married to a farmer, her former husband Norman Fetter who died in 1980. Mr. Fetter was also a World War II veteran.

A graveside service to honor the life of Donna Butche is scheduled for Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Sarasota National Cemetery. Pastor Wayne Dery will be officiating. Guests should arrive at Sarasota National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
