Elaine Irene (Edison) Leiter was born on April 24, 1943 and passed from this life in the gracious care of Melech Hospice House on January 13, 2017.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Edison and Rose Chaitow Edison, and her husband of 42 years, Gerald Leiter. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (John) Lockhart and Wendi (Jeff) McAleese and her granddaughters, Jordan Lockhart, Hayley McAleese and Dylan McAleese.
Her memory will be cherished by friends and family, especially her best friend, Chantel Reda and the entire Reda Family.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM at LifePath Hospice, Melech House, 11125 North 52nd Street, Temple Terrace, FL 33617. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to LifePath Hospice.
My heart is broken. I will miss her dearly. I’m grateful for all of our wonderful memories. My dinner and a movie buddy, our annual birthday and Christmas dinners, your 70th birthday celebration at Hamburger Mary’s where you won the “shake your booty” contest and were doing shots! I have more funny memories and stories than you can imagine. Thank you Wendi and Lisa for allowing me time to spend with your mom during the end. Elaine, I love you my friend and am glad you are at peace. I will miss you dearly.
