Sharon, Sylvia remembers that Wayne came to visit them after he got out of service. She extolled your virtues and that was all she wrote.
It led to 47 years and two blessed children. You can’t ask for much more. You have so many memories to treasure. I know that God will be with you, Brian, Kirstin and the family as you grieve for your loss. God bless and keep you in His lovingly arms. Love, pat
I will always have fond memories of Wayne as he supported your family’s cheerful running of “Young Rembrandts” in Jacksonville. Thank you to you all for the great work you did. My prayers and compassion for you as you adjust to living without him. So sorry for your loss.
Wayne was a man full of ideas for making things better and more effective working the Art program Young Rembrandt’s.I met him as a teacher team working to make the older art students more interested in taking the program by opening up using new media and ideas. My prayers are for God’s peace to surround Sharon and the family members during this healing time.
Wayne chose the right path for his journey home and heard those glorious words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” God bless you and your dear family, Sharon.
Sharon, I’ve been watching the Tampa Bay Times and was relieved today when I saw this posted on FB. We have had Wayne & you in our prayers as well as Marvin & Chris. Wayne lost his battle with life but has won the ultimate reward. May God continue to grant you and your family peace during this transition. For some reason I thought you both lived in Tampa. I never realized you were in Palm Harbor and not that far. Gary is having shoulder surgery this Wed so we won’t be able to attend Wayne’s service and I see you are going back to Ohio for a service. We will be in Florida until 4/26. I would love getting together with you. I will leave my phone number as a FB msg for you. With Love and God’s Blessings…..Liz
I am deeply grateful that God allowed us to walk together for a season and serve together in the church. It was not an easy time. But I was regularly strengthened and challenged by Wayne’s courage and internal moral compass. Would that there were more in leadership like him.
Dad – I miss you every single day.
