oy M. Jones was born on September 13, 1945 to Sipious Alvin and Jennie (Goode) Jones in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. He passed away on March 28, 2017 at Martinsburg VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Family
He is survived by his wife Regina, children, Darryl Johnson, Kevin T. Jones (Kimberly Fuller-Jones) and Kira Chavon Jones; mother-in-law, Sarah Johnson; grandchildren, Farrakhan Howard, Jasmine Jones, Kiayjah Jones, Brandon “BJ” Pitts, Jr., Breonna Pitts, Kayla Pitts, Darryl “DJ” Johnson, Jr., Kandice Poteat, and Kevon Poteat; great-grandchildren, Azariah Poteat-Mooney and Kason Wilkerson; cousin (sister), Gladys Wynn; and a host of very close family & friends
Awards and Decorations
Roy was a 100% disabled Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. At the time of his honorable discharge Roy was eligible to wear the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Services
A church service to honor the life of Roy Jones is scheduled for Tuesday April 4, 2017 at Destiny Baptist Church in Martinsburg. The visitation will begin at 11:00 am and the service will begin at 12:00 pm. The graveside service with military honors is scheduled for Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Guests planning on attending the graveside service should plan on arriving to Quantico National Cemetery at 12:30pm.

Wow how do i began.I met Mr roy about 10 years ago.When he first started bringing his car to have it detailed by us.He would come every month around the same time each month..Some times he’d stop just to talk and hang out with us.He would always say, boy im a 100 percent says the VA ctr.He loved a clean shinny car and he would always set and talk about the war and his kids.I will say he truly loved his kids and when he found out i knew his Daughter he would say i got my eyes on yaw guys lol and that look he had in his eyes of pure joy when he looked at his wife he would say lets ride momma and she would just smile the biggest smile ever..Roy wr will always remember you here at T &T Detailing..Rip Mack
