George and I were colleagues at North Georgia College & State University. I developed a lot of respect for him and enjoyed working with him. I am deeply saddened that he has passed away much too soon. I express my heartfelt sympathy to his family.
I am so saddened by the loss of George. I will miss my friend, but I am left with memories of good times together.
George,
It’s the 4th of July.
I will always remember the day you came to our school, in Romania. You were a different kind of professor: you took us out of our comfort zone , you cared a lot. Your passion and your smile made people walk through walls.
You changed my life in so many ways… Thank you!
I am so sorry I wasn’t there to tell it to you one last time.
Rest in peace. You will always be remembered.
Ovidiu
