Richard W. Langrall, 85, of Largo, FL, passed away on May 09, 2017, at the Largo Medical Center in Largo, FL. He was born in Cambridge, MD and moved to Largo in 1995 from Providence, RI.
He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1948 through 1954. He was an Aircraft Mechanic, then a Crew Chief and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. During his second tour of duty, he was involved in the Korean War. After his two enlistments ended, he worked for and retired from the US Postal Service.
Richard was a people person who enjoyed being around his wife and loved his family and friends. He was a quiet man that enjoyed gardening and working around the house. He liked going to the Posts to see friends and socialize. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 119, a life Member of VFW Post #10304 and AMVETS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Louise Langrall; and his son, Michael Langrall. He is survived by his wife, Mildred of Largo; son, Richard Langrall, Jr. of MD and Lonnie Langrall of Tacoma, WA; daughters, Patricia Gardner of MD and Debbie Lohr of Seattle, WA; stepsons, Michael and John Currier of Clearwater; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He will be interred at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
So sorry to hear about Dickie. My mom, Shirley was his cousin. We all loved Aunt Bebe and Myron.. We send our sympathy and prayers.
