Andrew and I attended the same schools from Kings Highway Elementary to Dunedin High School Class of 1978. I am saddened by his passing at such a young age. He will be remembered for his great smile and humour. May flights of angels sing him to his rest.
He was one of my most favorite school and band friends… known to all for his BEAUTIFUL Smile and SPARKLE in his eye…
Andrew you will be with us always..
Heart and Mind
I’ve known Andrew (Andy) since elementary school and graduated from Dunedin High in 1978. I was so sorry to hear of his passing, my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Be at peace now, my dear friend and drummer buddy. You were a joy to be around and I enjoyed all the good times we shared. God’s blessings of peace and comfort to your family.
Andy was a good friend in High school. He was a great drummer! Rest In Peace Andy!!
Andrew was one of my first friends when i moved to Dunedin. We lived in the same neighborhood. So sorry to hear of his passing.
I will always remember drumming side by side with Andrew. Whether if it was playing the Scottish music or him playing great drum set on “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy” in the Jazz Ensemble. I too lost touch with Andrew after his HS graduation. Rest in Peace, my High School Friend!

I am so sorry to hear this and so sorry for your loss. I met Andrew in 1977 and he became one of my best friends. We had so much fun together and I will treasure those memories. I will always remember his smile, his voice, the way he tilted his head, the way he moved his body and the twinkle in his eye… I will remember our talks and I will miss him forever….
Peace be with you and your family, Andrew. You were such a good friend to me in high school. I will always remember your smile and the way you could make me laugh. And you were such a good drummer! I am so saddened by your death. RIP, my friend! I will never forget you.
Andrew and I were neighborhood buddies since the mid 60s. We grew up together. I have such wonderful memories hanging out in my rec room playing pool, collecting bottles at construction sites, and building tree forts. I’m sad to hear this. I pray God’s comfort to his family and all who loved him.
Andrew and I were best friends in high school. i have countless memories of the time we spent together. We got our first jobs at the Kapok Tree, we were always roommates on band trips and definitely gave Mr Drager his first gray hairs. His mom and dad treated me as one of their own. I could go on and on for days about our time together. Sadly we lost touch after school and never had the chance to catchup on old memories. My heart aches thinking of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and all those who knew him. Rest In Peace my friend until we meet again!
