onald W. Bech was born on August 30, 1950 to Joseph and Helen (Wydock) Bech in Cleveland, Ohio. He passed away at Bay Pines VA Medical Center on June 8, 2017 under the care of Hospice.
Family
Ronald is survived by his wife, Sandra, to whom he was married to for 44 years. Additionally, he is survived by daughter Angela (Brian) Gardner of Cleveland, Ohio; son Joseph Bech of Clearwater, Florida; daughter Karen Agrait of Orlando, Florida; sister Rita J. Magni of New Port Richey; brother Robert Bech of Pinellas Park, Florida and grandchildren Brian Gardner, Jr., Melanie A. Gardner, Joseph C. Bech, Ethan E. Agrait and Makayla G. Bech.
Life
Ronnie was a devoted, loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, relative and friend. Nothing gave Ron more joy than being with family and friends. Countless memories of incredible gatherings will always be cherished. Respected, dependable, compassionate and full of life, he was unforgettable He protected and provided for his family with 31 years of dedication to Frito Lay. Ron is lovingly remembered for his strength and courage up to the end of his life, where he was surrounded by his loved ones.

Military Honors
A graveside service with military honors provided by the United States Coast Guard is scheduled for Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10:00 am at Bay Pines National Cemetery. All guests planning on attending the service should arrive at 9:45 am.
Having known Ron since his Coast Guard days, I feel the loss of a good friend, shipmate and generally a really nice man. Fair Winds, Follow Seas, “Buckwheat ” we will meet over the bar.
I met Ron when I transferred to the COTP office in Savannah. I needed a place to stay and Ron needed a room mate. We got along so well and met some many others who all became good friends. Will miss you Buckwheat.

So sorry Sandy! Lisa and I just heard about Ron’s passing. He was a joy to be around and I’ll never forget how him and Abe fooled us all into thinking they disliked each other. He will be missed for sure.
