She enjoyed going to the beach, boating on the water, photography, shooting her gun at the range, and an occasional glass of red wine. Lisa is survived by her parents Denver and Sue Linville, partner Timothy Elliott, son Richard Griner, brothers David and Jeff Linville, and six nieces and nephews. A private spreading of her ashes will be held amongst her family.

Lisa you will be missed. We enjoyed going to the races with you and tailgating after the race. I’m grateful that I got to know you better this last time. Rest in peace on your forever beach.

I knew Lisa back in the 90s. We were in our 20s and worked in Shands Hospital together. I worked in insurance verification and she worked in patient registration and and back in those days people took smoke breaks. I didn’t smoke, but I always went outside with everyone else just to take a break.
Lisa was beautiful. (The kind of beauty that would turn heads when she walked into a room). She was confident, sassy with a southern charm, funny and charismatic. I loved her like a big sister.
I remember one day we drove out to Cedar key. She said it would be really beautiful and it truly was. I remember the Spanish moss, the lush green grass, the farms, and the smell of the ocean
I saw that Don Shula had died and wanted to look up Lisa and reconnect. I was so sad and surprised to find out that she had passed away. Lisa was the ultimate Dolphins fan. She had a working knowledge of both the dolphins and of course the gators because they won the championship in 1996.
May you rest in peace beautiful Lisa Dean. I hope that you are raising hell up in heaven.
Love
Lisa and Ed Michener
