Rob was a good friend and a dedicated mason. I really enjoyed the little time I new him and will miss him.
“Alas, my Brother. When your trembling soul shall stand naked and alone before the Great White Throne, there to receive judgment for the deeds done while here in the body, may it be your portion to hear from Him who sitteth as the Judge Supreme the welcome words: “Well done, good and faithful servant! Thou hast been faithful over a few things; I will make thee ruler over many things! Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”
God speed, Robbie. Nick and I will miss you. Your dedication to St. Andrews Pipes and Drums will always be remembered. Whenever I see and hear the bass drum, I will be thinking of you. Rob (Robbie) Helms and I grew up together and our lives drifted apart not long after graduation. This was very sad to find.
Searching to reach out and connect and say hello and now I find out that God has taken him home. Rob was a very serious person, but he had a huge heart and cared about many things. He had a very honorable career and I was so proud to see all that he achieved. I’ll always remember the fun times we had being knuckleheads in our youth. Rob you were taken too soon. You touched many people’s hearts and I know they all miss you as will I. Rest peacefully old friend.
