Mrs. Rose Mary Huber passed away unexpectedly in St. Petersburg, Florida on July 24th, 2018. The loving wife of Robert “Bob” Huber, who remains at the home in St. Petersburg, Florida. Rose was the daughter of the late Herman W Bacon and the late Ruby Mae (Miller) Bacon Harper and born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on October 6th, 1943. She graduated Fort Scott, Kansas High School in 1961 and attended Fort Scott Community College.
She married Devney M Mack, Jr., deceased and leaves in life a daughter Estella Lamfu of Tulsa, Oklahoma and son Devney M. Mack III of Springfield, Missouri. A stepson Craig Davis of Fresno, Texas. Rose is survived by brothers John Harper of Oklahoma, Jim Harper and wife Debbie of Arma, Kansas, David Harper and wife Ellen of Bronson, Kansas and a sister Debbie Hazen of Fort Scott, Kansas. Rose left in life her Grandchildren: Camille (Angel), Alicia, Brent, Angelique, Raven, Brianna, Christian, Adrian and five great-grandchildren. Rose will be greatly missed by loving Aunts, cousins and close friends. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Matthew, a step-son Nicky Pollard and husband Jackie “Jack” Pollard, who passed away in 2006 and brothers Steven Harper and Michael Harper.
Rose and her husband Bob retired to St Petersburg, Florida and enjoyed making new acquaintances, visiting family and traveling.Rose was an avid and active member in breeding, showing and judging Miniature Pinscher and Chinese Crested dogs. Rose will be missed greatly by the family and friends across the Dog world.
Rose’s wishes in organ donation and cremation were honored and a Memorial is pending for October 2018 in Fort Scott, Kansas.
