Jonathan Sherman Clements, 66, passed away on July 30, 2018.
Jon was born on November 22, 1951 in St. Petersburg, Florida, a son of the late William Adrian Clements and Edna Scarbough Clements.
Jon served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. He worked at General Tire Rubber Plant in Waco, Texas for 13 years. He then moved to his hometown, St. Petersburg, where he was the owner of Jon’s Lawn Care Service.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Joseph Clements. Survivors include his wife of 46 years: Kathy Thomas Clements of St. Petersburg, three daughters: Wendy Foley and her husband, Shawn of New York, Amanda Jennings of St. Petersburg, and Lerah Clements of St. Petersburg; one son: Joshua Clements of St. Petersburg and seven grandchildren as well as special adopted children Shannon Lupiani and her husband, Rob of St. Petersburg and Nick Radler of St. Petersburg, two sisters and four brothers.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
His family remembers him as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and brother-in-law.
Kathy, I am truly sorry for your loss. Jon will be missed and he will never be forgotten, may his soul Rest In Peace.
