Mary Bernice Pensinger Stanton Manning passed away on October 28, 2018 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Portland, Indiana. Prior to moving to Groveland, she lived in Oviedo, St. Petersburg, and Seminole, Florida.
She worked for Honeywell then Publix until she retired.
Mary married Clifford Eugene Stanton on October 11, 1954. She raised four children, Donovan (Des), Douglas, Dawn, and Derrick. Mary was a caring, loving mother to her four children. She had six grandchildren, Jeremy Stanton, Christine Grant, Thomas Hedrick, Jessica Stanton, Karla Stanton, Lorraina Stanton, and Arthur Joseph Stanton. She also had two great grandchildren, Brooke and Braelyn Brotzge.
Her second marriage was to Rudy Manning on July 5, 1980 until his passing on August 24, 2003.
Mary will be remembered by her family and friends for her zest for life, infectious smile, laughter, and for always being ready for adventure. Let’s not forget “The LOOK.”
Will remember my good friend and neighbor when we all lived in Seminole. So sorry to hear this about Mary but her thoughts will be in my heart. RIP Mary and love ya.

Seeing Dawn, Doug, Des and all our Starkey Elementary, Madeira Beach, DHHS & Seminole High friends was just wonderful. All of you are memories of the great childhood we had in “Park & Starkey.” God bless the memory of your mom, it’s so hard to lose them.
